Information on the Algarve

The Algarve

The Algarve is a popular tourist destination and having holidayed here with children I can confirm that it is extremely child friendly! All the restaurants have baby seats and the two large indoor Algarve shopping centres provide FREE pushchairs for you to use whilst you are there!

With its wealth of Golf Courses, superb Restaurants and Theme Parks the Algarve really does offer something for everyone.

Within this guide we provide information about shopping in the Algarve with details on the Guia Shopping Centre, Algarve Forum Shopping Centre and a number of Algarve Theme Parks.

However, our advice is to head for the nearest tourist office when you arrive. There is a large Tourist office at the Airport but each town has one and we have listed the details below.

The local tourist offices are able to provide information on local fairs and festivals along with any major events that could be taking place.
